Thyme at The Flower Hut.... ....Workshops to rejuvenate the soul
I am pleased to be offering a selection of carefully considered workshops, something for every taste and all abilities. A relaxing and fun way to explore your creative side. All courses are as sustainable as possible with locally grown flowers featuring throughout where possible.
They are all held at my home in Langford, Bedfordshire and are suitable for between four and six people.
Everything you need to enjoy your moment of Thyme will be included, flowers & sundries with home bakes and beverages.
ORIGINAL THYME (2 hours)- £70
The Original Thyme is a great introduction to floristry skills. You will enjoy learning how to create a beautifully rustic hand tied bouquet, choosing from a selection of eco friendly wrappings to complete the look. Pick up tips and ideas along the way so you have the ability and confidence to arrange your own flowers at home.
We will then settle down to enjoy homemade bakes and a cuppa.
RING OF THYME (2 hours)- £65
SEASONAL WREATH (Spring, Summer, Autumnul, Winter, Christmas)
A very relaxing moment of Thyme learning how to create a stunning mossed wreath for the door. This is a very popular one so don't delay in booking.
All materials are provdied along with delicious home bakes and refreshments
Workshops are offered to groups of 4-6 participants, ideal for a family get together or a work social.
The dates and times that I offer are flexible, so grab your diaries and contact me to arrange your Thyme of festive relaxation.
THYME FOR TEA - (3 hours - £90)
I'm not sure if it's because I love cooking or if it's because I love afternoon tea...either way this is my favourite moment of Thyme
First of all we will gather to make a beautiful seasonal posy created from the freshest and most local lovelies I can lay my hands upon. Following a quick tidy down, I will leave you to create a stunning table scape with extra bits and bobs while I put the finishing touches to your tea. Then sit and admire your creations while you enjoy tea and enjoy relaxing with your friends.
This has proved ver popular for family gatherings and special occasion celebrations.

ALL THYME SESSIONS ARE HELD AT MY WELCOMING HOME WHICH OFFERS A GREAT WORKING SPACE. REFRESHEMENTS AND HOME BAKED GOODIES ARE OFFERED AT EVERY THYME. THE WORKSHOPS ARE RELAXING, CREATIVE, FUN AND MOST DEFINITIELY GOOD FOR THE SOUL.
WEDDING THYME (4 hours) - £185
If you think you may like to arrange your own wedding flowers or even help a friend then you'll love this moment of Thyme.
We will start by creating a hand tied wedding bouquet with a beautiful selection of the freshest seasonal flowers and silk ribbons. We will learn how to create a quirky buttonhole and a stunning wrist corsage before moving onto mastering a table decoration fit for the centre of any table.
This little bit of Thyme will just overflow with wedding loveliness, not to be missed. Why not come along with your Ma and the bridesmaids making it a bit of a hen do.

A special Thyme that can be taylor made to suit your requirements. Perfect for hen parties, baby showers, Birthday celebrations or just a get together of your favourite people.
We can put together a day or afternoon of mixed thyme workshops to suit your ability and requirements. Flower Crowns could definitely feature too.

Thyme Workshops for 2023/2024
Saturday 5th August - Original Thyme - 12-2pm (Competition)
Wednesday 23rd August - Original Thyme - 6-8pm
Satuday 14th October - Original Thyme - 2-4pm
Ring of Thyme to follow but feel free to book your group in early for a winter/Christmas Thyme
(Minimum of 4 people per workshop to ensure it can take place)
In addition to the current programme I am also able to arrange personalised bookings. These moments of Thyme are offered to groups of between 4 and 6 people who must all be booked at the same time. I am very flexible and will endeavour to accommodate your chosen day and time. Pick your Moment of Thyme and contact me so we can get a date in the diary.
